About the position
Our tour guides work, among other things, by meeting our Norwegian, Swedish and Danish guests at the airport, participating in the bus transport between the airport and the hotels, holding welcome meetings, selling and conducting excursions, providing service at our hotels and via telephone. We help, serve and answer questions from our Scandinavian guests via telephone, SMS and email, and we are a large part of our digital service. When you work as a tour guide, you must be prepared for a hectic workday with many varying tasks.
As we are available 24/7, our digital service is the natural first point of contact for our guests. You should view your phone and computer as natural work tools and be able to navigate our various systems quickly and efficiently. The ability to quickly provide good service to our guests via phone, email, chat or SMS will be a large part of your daily work tasks and you can expect to work with our digital service several days a week.
You will work in a team of varying sizes with a service manager as your immediate manager and where your colleagues can come from all Nordic countries – Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. You will have a very social working environment where your colleagues will become your friends and you will socialize a lot both inside and outside of working hours. You will normally work five days a week with working hours spread over 24 hours, all year round, which gives very varying working hours. In your free time, there are great opportunities to experience the destination you are working at.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, caring, service-minded and wants to give our guests the best vacation weeks of the year. You are a natural joy-maker who enjoys solving problems and providing service. You are happy to share your experience and expertise with others, and are open to change and innovation. You have basic IT skills and possess good administrative skills. It should be easy for you to navigate different technical systems and provide our guests with good service over the phone, SMS, email and chat. In addition to good service, we also want you to want to develop yourself in the role of tour guide and work for several seasons where you constantly challenge yourself and have the drive to try new areas of responsibility.

Those who advance in the process will be invited to a personal interview. Selection and recruitment days will take place continuously during the fall/winter 25/26.
A summer season lasts approximately 6 months depending on which destination you work at. In the middle of the season you then apply internally and for the opportunity to choose which destination and role you would like to work in the upcoming winter season starting in October/November.
In certain periods we have advertisements for different types of international positions. We must therefore ask you to only apply for the position for which you are most motivated and qualified. You can always state in your application if there are more positions you are interested in.
In this recruitment, we use tests from Alva Labs – a logical problem-solving test and a personality test. The tests are based on recognized research and allow us to assess your strengths and any challenges in an impartial way in relation to the position in question.
