About the position We are looking for a
Norwegian medical translator to join our Translations team, supporting our Nordic growth. The position is a part-time (60 % working time) 12 months fixed-term employment. The fixed-term employment may be converted into a permanent position based on an evaluation after 12 months. Oriola translation services are a part of Oriola Advisory services helping pharmaceutical companies succeed with tailored services across the entire product lifecycle. In this role, you will handle a wide variety of medical, regulatory and pharmaceutical texts in close collaboration with Oriola's pharmaceutical industry experts. The position can be based in Denmark, Sweden, or Finland.
Personal and experience Requirements To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or a degree in another relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience translating and reviewing medical and pharmaceutical texts from English to Norwegian
- Excellent proficiency in Norwegian and English; additional language skills are considered an advantage
- Previous experience working in or with the pharmaceutical industry or in other health care companies is an asset
- Strong IT skills and experience using translation memory tools
- Ability to work independently and proactively as part of a translation team
